TOLEDO, Ohio — The United States Postal Inspection service is offering a reward for information related to any suspect accused of robbing a postal worker at gunpoint earlier this month.
According to a notice from the USPS, the agency is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest of any suspect involved in a June 7 armed robbery of a postal worker.
Toledo police records indicate the robbery occurred just after noon near the intersection of North Hawley Street and Indiana Avenue in central Toledo.
According to police, the victim was held up at gunpoint and robbed of his keys and cell phone.
The USPS notice said suspects should be considered armed and dangerous, and the public should not take action themselves to apprehend them.
