One person hurt during vehicle theft in central Toledo, police say

The victim was taken to the hospital, police say.

TOLEDO, Ohio — One person was injured during a vehicle theft in central Toledo Tuesday, in an incident that did not result in any arrests. 

According to a Toledo police report, the victim, whom police described as a 53-year-old man, was assaulted in the 300 block of Dennis Court by at least one unknown suspect at approximately 5 p.m. The suspect then stole the victim's vehicle.

The victim was taken to the hospital. The nature and severity of the victim's injuries were not included in the report. 

Police said they recovered the stolen vehicle a short time later, but it was unoccupied.
