BRADNER, Ohio — A Wood County man was sentenced to prison Tuesday after he sexually abused two young children.
According to court documents, Michael Stultz II, of Bradner, Ohio was sentenced to 16 years in prison and must register as a Tier 3 sex offender. He pleaded guilty on May 8, 2024 to one count of gross sexual imposition and three counts of sexual battery, all of which are third-degree felonies. Stultz's sexual battery charges had been amended from previous charges of first-degree felony rape, on which he was indicted in January 2023.
Court documents stated Stultz had sexually abused two children over the course of multiple years, beginning approximately March 2020. One child was abused repeatedly while they were between the ages of 11 and 14. Stultz sexually abused other child when they were 9 years old.

Stultz engaged in an "egregious, longstanding, and unrelenting pattern of sexual abuse," and would do so "anytime he got a chance," according to court documents.
He received one day of credit for jail time, and upon release, will be subject to a five-year period of post-release control.
