TOLEDO, Ohio — One person was injured in an east Toledo motorcycle crash early Thursday.
According to a press release from Toledo police, the driver of a motorcycle was traveling southbound in the 500 block of White Street around 2 a.m. The driver lost control of the motorcycle after entering a construction zone, and was ejected from the vehicle.
The driver, later identified by Toledo police as Cameo Pettaway, was taken to the hospital. The nature of the injuries was not specified in the report, but family of Pettaway told WTOL 11 he was in a coma.
No one else was listed as having been injured in the crash. Authorities continue to investigate.
