Crews respond to large fire in Jerusalem Twp., garage deemed 'total loss'

A fire chief at the scene told WTOL 11 the garage is a total loss but the home was undamaged.

CURTICE, Ohio — Firefighters are investigating what caused the detached-garage of a Jerusalem Township home to burn to the ground Wednesday morning.

Crews responded just after 4:30 a.m. to a call about a fire on the 400 block of West Avenue near Courdoroy Road, north of the Bono curve.

Although the homeowner was present at the time of the fire, no injuries were reported.

A fire chief at the scene tell WTOL 11 the garage is "a total loss" but the home was undamaged.

Multiple fire agencies responded to assist at the scene.
