Toledo police told WTOL 11 the man crawled out of his flipped truck with minor injuries.

TOLEDO, Ohio — A driver flipped his pickup truck upside down, briefly slowing down traffic on Monroe Street at 22nd Street Friday morning.

Toledo police at the scene told WTOL 11 a man was driving on Monroe Street on his way to work when he swerved and hit the median to avoid hitting a cat that darted out into the street, causing the truck to flip on its top.

Police also said the man crawled out of his flipped truck with minor injuries.

Traffic on the south side of Monroe Street was stopped briefly to clean up debris from the accident but was reopened shortly after.
