TPD: 1 shot in east Toledo early Wednesday

Police at the scene told WTOL one vicitm was found with at least one gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured early Wednesday.

Officers responded to a person shot call around 4 a.m. in the 200 block of Longdale Avenue in east Toledo.

Police at the scene told WTOL one victim was found with at least one gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

In a report, police named Jamal Brown as a suspect, whom they said fled the scene on foot.
