TOLEDO, Ohio — A two-vehicle crash sent a pickup truck into a building in east Toledo on Friday.
The crash happened shortly before 3 p.m. Friday on Navarre Avenue near Oak Street, according to Toledo police.
A driver, who police identified as a 27-year-old east Toledo man, ran a red light and crashed his car into a pickup truck.
The pickup truck, driven by a 51-year-old from central Toledo, struck La Mexicana at 764 Oak Street as a result of the crash. The crash caused significant damage to the building.
The driver of the car was "preoccupied" when he ran the red light, Toledo police said.
There were no injuries reported.
Oak Street between Navarre Avenue and Earl Street was closed for about three hours before reopening to traffic.
