MILLBURY, Ohio — A semi truck driver suffered serious injuries after crashing into a garage and several parked cars overnight in Lake Township.
The crash happened around 2 a.m. on the 3300 block of Latcha Road in Millbury.
Officials at the scene told WTOL 11 they believe the driver of the semi was traveling on Warns Road and the T-intersection, before it continued through Latcha Road and crashed into a garage near a home.
Fire fighters rescued the driver from the semi and took him to the hospital with serious injuries.
Although the garage was left destroyed, no one inside the home was injured.
Several vehicles that were parked in the driveway of the home were also struck, as well as a propane tank.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
